Default Sharkwerks Bypass Install DIY w/ pics 997.1

The Sharkwerks bypass exhaust has finally been installed and I'm thrilled with the results.
As many of you know, it really brings the GT3 alive and for some reason my foot hits the loud pedal much more frequently while going under overpasses...and even above them too!

The customer service provided by Sharkwerks (Alex and Dan) was very good and I did not have any issues at all.

Attached is the modified Sharkwerks installation with pictures. I know when taking on projects, a picture can clear up questions and hope this helps out.

Thanks for posting this up, it's really great when people can take what we've done and make it better. In this case I think your pics add a lot of detail and I'll be sure to send people this way for help with installations.

At the ready! Indeed it's not too hard at all to do. A couple of hours on the ground really... and then this:

Seriously thank you so much for taking the time to do that. Really helpful and I'm sure gives people confidence to tackle it themselves. It's not too bad to do and keep on hitting that pedal

I decided to eliminate the first few steps of this procedure and installed a Soul center muffler bypass.
Rear up on 2 JackPoint jackstands.
I must be too ignorant to realize the necessity for rear bumper removal, but had no problems.
Took awhile to replace the OEM control for the vacuum switches, but I prefer a simple on/off switch in my ashtray.
