Hi

Does anyone here use Endless brakepads on the standard 997GT3.2 steel brakes? It seems quite a few endurance teams use them. Manthey also recommends them. Does anyone know what their equivalent of the Pagid RS29 is and if it is better/longer lasting?

Can someone just tell me what endurance pads are equivalent to Pagid Yellow? They seem to have a lot of different pad types.

Locals did a lot of testing. I think the best but pricey.

If you are allergic to changing pads and not worried about cost, these are the M45a?? are the ones to have.

I have driven most of their pads, except ma45b

Me20 is just like pagid, same life same mushy pedal after two days, same taper

I have driven some of their compounds, not ma45b. Me20 is a little more cost than pagid rs29.....me20 was the compound gmg said to run. It really is not that bad

I have not been able to stomach the ma45b price to do an experiment, they are somewhere in the 2k per pad set price

In my opinion. If they last 2x what I am running now it is not worth it...I don't mind doing pad changes

If u decide to run endless, buy multiple sets. They carry minimal stock so if u need pads quick you are SOL. This is why I tried all the different compounds, they were always out of me20

$2k for a set of freakin pads.....?????? They are as crazy as GMG is with there $7800 wheels. NO THANKS! I'll stick with Pagid and/or Performance Friction.

You confused me with your post saying the Me20 gets mushy like Pagid, Endless M35 the same and W003 has no bite. Didn't appear that you liked them all that much.

Ok, let's recap some part numbers here.

For a 2010 GT3(RS) on steels we have:

Pagid RS29:
U8003 front
U8006 rear

Endless MA45B.
HP232 front
HP285 rear

Performance Friction PFC08
??? front
??? rear

anyone care to fill in? I think P78190817 front and P12990817 rear but not sure about the fronts (they seem a little bit too thick, they are the Pagid U8004 equivalent. U8004 = U8003 but 1.5mm thicker).

I thought Me-20's were a litte better than pagid yellows IMO. But they around 1k for a set of front and rears

Friday a customer changed from Endless to Pagid as the Endless wore much too quickly for teir HUGE price...passing on what I hear.

FWIW, a vast huge majority of pro racing teams use Pagid Yellow, Endless is a relative rarity.

There is a difference between between the commonly prices Endless and the $uper Mojo Endless pad$...

PFC is the best alternative for the $$ me thinks..

Endless can be a little hard to find too.... We tried to get some for our Cup with the new Bosch ABS system as it like a high torque pad.... Couldn't get RS,15s in time. Called GMG three times over two days as they claimed to be a "distributor" but after chatting and them promissing to look into it, I never got a call back......

Everyone is saying "better than a Pagid" or "about the same as a Pagid" Well which Pagid? The RS29 which is a track day favourite, which I like as well, is an endurance pad. Not exactly the highest torque pad out there. Brand to brand comparos is apples to oranges. Brand X compound to another Brand Y compound would make a better comparo.

The RS29 makes a good track day pad as most people using it are going to get good life at the track but I have seen a lot of them come out of calipers where they are not getting enough heat into them to even bed the compound properly. I have even seen a few pics on Rennlist of pads that are not bedded properly. If you don't get them bedded properly or get enough heat into them you won't get the proper performance.
