WOW.... didn't expect to see sooo many replies.

Thanx for all the comments, praises, or concerns.....

And again, THANK YOU ALL here for helping me shape the GT3 to where it is now.

I couldnt afford an 3.8 RS back then bro.

All my mods I try to find on the secondary market.

Seats (used) and 997.1 Wing (new) I bought from one of the coolest members here who has incoming a 4.0 RS (CARRERA GT).

BBS e88s i bought used also from another cool member here (GUSTAVO) who bought a CUP CAR.

This forum has a phenomenal array of people for networking.

I love the wheels too Karm!!!!

wheels 18x9 fronts and 18x12 rear

tires are MICHELIN PILOT SPORT PS2 (Super Sports are not available yet)

255/35 fronts and 315/30 rears

Was thinking about TOYO R888 or HOOSIER SLICKS in same sizes.

Serge is correct!!!!!! LOL

One day I will be baller like SERGE and have a 4.0 liter in my ride too!!!!!

Hey bro,

Thank You for all the help and pointing me out to the direction on some of my mods..... You have been an integral part of my build bro and I thank you for that.

You have been an inspiration from my build years before I purchased my car.

I will definitely let you know if I come across some e88s!!!!!!!

Love how you are mixing it, and changing your style. Great work, thanks in advance for your time.

Far from perfect Jesse since funds are an obstacle.... but thank you for following me on the journey of modding. All my styling cues were borrowed from everyone here on the Rennlist and modified it to my taste.

Red was matched by my powdercoater POWDERCOAT-IT here in Sacramento, CA and mirror paint of Guards Red was painted by TNT-Autobody in Sacramento, CA.

Hit me up anytime on my mods. If I can help, I'll do the best I can.

Can't wait to see your creation on your 997.

That could be a plan and I've thought about it!!!

Thanx for adding the suggestion and thanx for the compliment

Thanx for the kind words Paul.

NAKAI, TOSHI, and the rest of the RWB CREW are great peeps. Hopefully get to see them next month when they are in NORCAL.

BTW - CONGRATS on your GT3 PAUL...... Its beautiful!!!!! We have the same taste. Our base GT3s are almost identical...... everything the same from the no sport chrono wart and no nav. Only things different you have are the deviated stitching and yellow seat belts. Can't wait to see your build!!!!!

Awww shucks Paul... thanx again for the kind words, but NO BAR Here my friend..... Just enjoying modding the car to my liking.

Just happy to be able to own this dream car is what I consider the bar and be part of this RENNLIST community where everyone supports everyone.

Just ask for help, and everyone chimes in. Great place for networking and getting/sourcing used parts also.

Now if i had the money, I know its sacrilegious, I would get a white 4.0 RS and convert it to CUP RSR clone, like the blue one ORBIT did for their customer. Would be the ultimate GT3 IMHO

I wish BBS would of made 5 lug on their current 3 piece wheel like the cup car. And i'm definitely not going to change to PITA OEM center lock to get that look. e88s with 5 lug good for me.

Looking forward to YOU and LOPRO's 997.1 build

J you should see the room in my house full of mods building up. It's getting hard to walk around in here.
I will post it all soon, I just have to find the perfect car im looking for.
I was going for a gt3 but ive think Ive changed my mind an im thinking about getting the 2010 gt3RS.
I dont know forsure yet but I dont want to look back afew dwn the line and regret it, yaknow!!??
Some of what I bought had to be exchanged and other things were sold. Im going to make a whole thread soon enough.

I Thank you and I got all your support with my questions. I am most greatful of that help. Knowledge is power and I want my car to be the best it can be.
Ive been buying stuff this whole time I have been asking questions and stock piling it for one massive build

YES!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!

So lemme guess. this is what i would do:

2010 GT3 RS:
997.2 cup wing
997.2 cup lip
18" BBS GT3 3-piece street center lock
Euro Clubsport Seats (Carrera GT seats)
Porsche Full Cage (used from Savyboy)
Schroth 6-Point harnesses
Akrapovic Sports Cup Exhaust or Full Evolution/Race exhaust with tune.
Track lower, corner balancing, Alignment.
AND MOST OF ALL.... TRACK TIME, TRAK TIME, TRACK TIME!!!!!

I could go on with suspension bits and 4.0 build, but the other stuff is priority... especially track time!!!!!!

Your welcome on all the help. I love modding. You can hit me up anytime.

I arrived late into the 997.1 game and there are soooooo many nice 997.2 GT3/RS/4.0 RS builds here that I can't believe you all are still giving props to my old 997.1 GT3.

I am soooo humbled to have such a great cast of friends and peeps here. Thank you guys again for the support!!!!!
