One thing to consider is that the 991 is going to be here by the same time as this car. Depending on how the 991 drives, is priced and can be specified, this car will either look like a dream or mistake.
For example, if the 991 C2 costs the same, weighs less, handles better, and has more power then why choose the RSA?
If the 991 costs more, weighs more, is less nimble with its 4" lengthened wheelbase, has a mandatory sunroof, and has numb electric power steering (EPS is confirmed, but not how well it will work) then this RSA seems like a great choice.

Limited to 1993 cars in the US only??? Just how limited it that??? Sounds cool, but what's next? The 911 T anniversary model, Turbo Carrera platinum edition? I'm waiting for the 993 GT2 super limited edition.

The great part about that is that it will be a Buyers' market and I anticipate discounts offered to move them, while the 991 is on the showroom floor. This happened with the 2004 996 40th Anniversary model which had about the same number built (1964). They were offered with big discounts and they still receive a significant premium over a C2 in the used market today (+25hp, LSD, Sport Suspension, special interior and exterior trim).

Crap. This is the Carrera I have been wanting since the water-cooled 911 era started. And here I was hoping to be content with my Spyder for the next couple years until the 991 line becomes more fully developed. Hopefully this is a joke.

Perhaps I was too subtle there at the end of my post:
= jump for joy, this is just what I want
= WINK, it's only a joke
= Crying because they will never make this car
Sorry guys. If you want this, you've got to get a whole lot of people to call Porsche and ask them to build it. I don't care if it's a 991 or 997, but something like this would be awesome, imho.
