I used the Trofeos on track only once but I can tell you that they are absolutely awesome! Much much grippier than the Cups when cold (like night and day) and still much grippier as you work them towards their sweet spot. I had them on for about 15 laps, consistently hitting higher entry / exit speeds in corners, much better grip all around. It was very impressive. I was even getting a bit too confident and missed my breaking point in the bowl of the Dubai autodrome, hit a couple of cones and caught a metal debris that cut the rear right tire. This effectively ended my session, of course, and I am waiting for a replacement tire from Pirelli Middle East, which is supposed to get here by the end of this month. If this 15-lap stint is any indication, I assure you that this is THE tire to have for the track. No idea about durability, though...
And they are quieter than the Cups on the road. All in all, an impressive jump in performance from an already amazing tire.

I booked a set that's supposed to arrive anytime this month... i have no option as cups are no way to be found.. will see how it goes...

I just put the Trofeos on my GT3. They seem to be somewhat quieter and softer riding than the Corsa Systems I previously had on the car.
I tried them out at the Streets of Willow and they were at least equal to the Corsa Systems. They seemed best at about 34lbs FR and 36lbs RR. Anything close to 40lbs and the tires started to get a little greasy and were sliding a bit.
Not sure of the tire wear as SOW is fairly hard on tires and tread depths look to be slightly more shallow than the Corsa Systems to begin with.
Overall, the tires seem really good and considering they cost less than both the MPSC or Corsa Systems seems like a nice trade off.

Yep I noticed that too for the 18"...they have the correct 19" size.
I have often wondered if there would be any real lap time difference with a 997 car on the track on 18's or 19's.
I'd love it if someone or some magazine with a pro driver would do a back to back test....same tires say R888's as they both come is 18 and 19" correct sizes. Lay down some laps at Sebring on each tire size with Traqmate or Race Keeper data and see what the performance difference is.

Use my car for 18" with R888....I have a set of these
Use someone else on Rennlist wheels / tiresfor 19", or convince Toyo to give me a set of 19" R888 tires (I have rims) for testing
Make Trakcar our test driver since he is consistant

Izzone Deputy Dawg has R888 in 19". We could probably put a decent test together

Just moved to a 6 GT3 from a 997S so... sold a set of few months old 19" Ultraleggera + Cups, and bought a set of new 18" Aleggerita + Cups for the "new" car. Wanted to be on the safe side plus, who am I to argue with the cognoscenti ? But $$$ lost.
