Default Gt3 vs tt

Quick question -

For street use only, is the ride quality much more harsh in the GT3 as compared to a tt?

I prefer the look of the Gt3 - not a fan of the wide body - but don't want to get jarred around on a highway cruise to the local beach. I

Yes it is harsher, but that's why we like them.

it is not the ride so much as the heavier clutch pedal and single mass flywheel chatter.
the ride is decent.
less interior insulation and only two speaker stereo makes road noise more apparent.

the fact that it is high rev engine and not a low end torq monster is why most street drivers prefer the TT.

I think the the ride in the 997.2 GT3 or RS is perfectly fine... not punishing. Turbo doesn't feel that much more comfortable. PASM mode in Turbo is brutal

Correction: Gt3 is boring when driven responsibly on the street.

+1, my Cayman was more fun for the street, I could run through the RPM range much more often.

had 2 tt's (996 & 997). have gt3.2 with over 17000miles now. street or track, can't beat gt3, even at less than 10/10ths.

Have had both. For me, the GT3 .2 is much more compliant than the 09 turbo I had. Roads in RI are truly 3rd world-like.

I think another RL'er put it best:

"With the GT3s you either look like an idiot revving the engine or an idiot stalling the car..."

I may look like an idiot but it feels REALLY good being one!

for street use only try 997.2 TT PDK. it is a very good car.
you should definitely try it before making your decision.

I've been sweating the same dilemma. It's pretty obvious from the feedback that there's no clear answer. Personal taste prevails. Or just get both (in serial or parallel).
