Thanks Sam - good to know you got paid in full!
Wanted to follow up with your question as I don't know anything about transport of cars,... I know that when we had cars income from the port to the dealership, they were all open trailers (but they had pre-PDI protection). It was only the Carrera GT that had the enclosed container.
Car is coming from CA to Vancouver, Canada. Anyone have any thoughts for me? Much appreciated!

Since you cannot drive the car from cali to vancouver this time of year i would suggest having the car enclosed transported from the seller to a porsche dealer in seattle. (have them program daytime running lights, and as a bonus they accept the car and hold it for your arrival )
fly one way to seattle and pick up the car from the dealer and drive back to vancouver with customs documents in hand.
You will need to contact RIV to begin importation process.
You will also need to have MCL in vancouver give the car a $500.00 inspection to validate the remaining warranty in canada.
I have a custom made french/english airbag warning label i can fax you in which you can have it replicated in order to attach to the porsche for canadian inspection @ canadian tire.
congrats on the new ride!

Victoria, or whatever your name is,
In the future, when attempting to scam americans, please use proper
grammar and correct spelling. In addition, I've seen scams before.
Yours is pathetic and dumb as ****,
You would be wise to clear your calendar for the next few years or so.
I've reported your email address and telephone number to Interpol and
the FBI. Two pieces of advice for your prison stay. First, don't
attempt to use your Paypal scam when buying food from the prison
commissary, and second, you might want to consider changing your name
from Victoria before entering prison. It will hopefully reduce the
amount of times you get butt-f@cked!

Picked up a C63 w/ P31 used w/ 2400 miles
I have to say it is pretty fun, tons of torque, dynos 420whp on a dyno jet. Mercedes says 481 hp but it is actually more around 510hp The p31 package uses the SLS forged piston, revised crankshaft and ecu and a limited slip diff as well as some other goodies... alcantara steering wheel.
Yes it is a heavy beast, but it is tons of fun for what it is. The tail comes out very easy. I have always hated mercedes cause they felt like boats with very loose steering. This car is not like what I have driven previously. The steering is actually better, sportier w/ more feedback than the e92 m3 I owned. It is nice to have an amazing stereo and some of those comfort amenities, for now at least.

Saw the link to this, anyone know where this car is now? Curious if it stayed with someone on RL?

Are you talking about your meteor grey '10? If so, it's still with the owner you sold to. It's enjoying a happy life of regular driving and tracking. It also inspired me to buy mine

Yes I am. I thought he sold it to someone else. If not, great. Now I just feel like an ***, could of still owned the car and not lost a dollar on it!
