I have two sets for my GT3 and GTS and I love them!

for those that have trouble getting the jack under the car, I got some raceramps
and drive the car up on those before jacking... perfect

YOCHO~The "low-profile" pads are what you want. They work fine with my GT3...

The jack stands with low profile pads are what you need for your GT3. Depending on your jack, you may have to deal with the GT3 being a bit lower than your basic 991. I could suggest the really beautiful jack in the avatar. It has a minimum pickup height of 2.2 inches which is the lowest in the industry and it will go under anything. However, when that's not available you can use most common jacks. At the track we lift the really low cars with a jack alone at the factory lift point, when the tire comes off the ground we slide a short piece of 2x4 under the tire, let the car down and then re-jack the car with the Jackpoint pad in place. I've found that easier than trying to feather a car onto a board with a race clutch and climb in and out of a caged car (probably not an issue with 991's)

Hello jpoint,

I just went to your web store and it seems the JP stands with the low profile pads are backordered. I have a 997.1 GT3 stock height. If this is what I need, what is the ETA? Do I place an order now or wait until they are in stock?

Hello jpoint,

Similar question for me. I sent an email asking about backorder status and when I should place an order. I'm looking for 2 pair of the low profile jack stands (2016 GT4). Let me know what I need to do. Great looking product looking forward to them.

We had allot of orders for the holidays coupled with foundry closings for the holidays which equals a back order status. We were also saddened at the passing last month of the man at the foundry who got us started back in 2010. A great guy whose gone home. The foundry closed for a few days to mourn his loss. I spoke with the foundry today and production begins again this week. We have some back orders to ship but should be caught up by mid January. General apologies to the guys who are waiting for orders. We always have a standing order for product but we're not the only customer at the foundry and delays are largely out of our control.

Just went through the whole thread. Cant believe I just came to know about this marvelous created product. This might be a silly question
but is it possible to just work with 2 stands instead of all 4? I have a 2019 991.2 Gt3rs and I plan to ceramic coat my wheels. Can I just
have the stands at the back while working on the back wheels and keeping the front wheels of the car on the ground or will the front lip start pressing
on the ground. I always feel like this way the car will be more stable when torquing the center lock wheels instead of having the car up with 4 JackPoint stands.

Great product.

I have just two that I put in the back and then I have a set of regular jack stands in the front.

(Front lifts when you hack up the rear.)

To add to what Kobalt said, yes, one set of Jackpoint stands works fine when used with a set of (decent) reg jack stands. Using the Jackpoint plate, I jack up one side of the car using the rear jack location. That entire side of the car will come off the ground. I continue to jack it up to a height where I can get one of my reg jack stands under the front jack location on the car. I slide the reg jack stand under the front jack location and slide the Jackpoint stand over the jack and under the Jackpoint plate at the rear jack location and begin to lower the jack. That side of the car will be sitting on the jack stand in front and on the Jackpoint jack stand in the back. Then I do the same thing on the other side. Works like a charm. For more 'normal' cars I can see where having two sets of Jackpoint stands might be handy, but for our cars, I think one set of the Jackpoint stands + quality reg jack stands works perfectly fine.

What I am trying to ask is if it is ok to just have 2 Jackpoint stands under the car. So for example if I start working on the back wheels I will
have the Jackpoint stands under the back 2 wheels and the front wheels will be on the ground without any stands. Is this possible? I feel
this way there will be more stability.

I have been using Jackpoints since they first were introduced, and they have been a source of joy for at least a decade. Absolutely bullet-proof quality, and there is no safer or stable way to have you car off the ground other than an actual lift.

There is no issue at all with having either the front, rear, or one side of your car being supported by two Jackpoints. Get a set and enjoy the smile that will surely come to your face!

Prost! David
