Car Audio shop in West LA?
Hey all -
Can anyone recommend a car audio shop qualified to work on my GT3 in West LA? I'm getting fed up with the crappy speakers and unbelievably poorly designed PCM and want to get some work done soon. Probably 2 nice speakers, small amp, and a nice Pioneer or Kenwood double head unit with GPS and all the other goodies (BT, ipod, traffic, etc.)
Thanks! Any gear recommendations would be welcome too.

can always go to AL and ED's on Santa Monica and La Cienega in West Hollywood. They always have lambos, ferraris and bentlys in there. I think they have some pics of some turbos they have done. They are costly thou

There is a place across the street from Chicken Cafe on Wilshire. Check it out.

Both of the above are Al and Ed's. I wouldn't go near either of them.
Try Haas Entertainment in Culver City. The owner has/had a 997.1 and 997.2.

I used an installer that has does alot of custom work for show quality vehicles. He has done a few custom stereos for me in my H1 and a few other cars. He had the interior of my GT3 RS apart to install the telemetry which scared the poop out of me but he put it back together perfectly. He lives here in Bakersfield but works all over so cal as well. He comes to your house, works out of his van with his tools so you dont have to worry about your car being in some under insured shop or garage.
Feel free to PM me if you would like to contact him directly.
Good luck.

I actually live on Ocean but I drive past 26th on the way to and from work. Any local monthly cruises I should be aware of?

It is my understanding that the term OT stands for Open Track then you pick which group you should be in, like Driving school group for first timers.
The fee is $99 plus $10 per day event, do to not being a member.
You would have to ask what group you should be in on the 21st since it does not say Driving school group is available.
Hope to see you out there as my friend and I will be there withe the yellow cars.
