Are USA GT2RS Config Changes Locked Out?
Anyone try to change their GT2RS configs the last couple of days? My dealer went into the order bank tonight to add a minor tweak and the car is gone form his inventory. He doesn't know if Porsche pulled the US cars or if it's just a system issue.

I understand they were all (USA) pulled some weeks ago.

I changed the color on Sept 26th. That was the last time my dealer looked at the car in the system. When he went back in on Oct 10th, the car was no longer visible in his inventory. So I guess, they're being pulled for production. I wish I knew just how special, the delivery event was going to be. I'd still rather do Euro delivery on this car. (Yes, Euro delivery is possible, just damn difficult to pul off)

When can you pick it up in Germany if you do? Depending on weather, I don't see how the event can beat driving the nurburgring!
My build date changed from end of May to 02-23-10 so still sow in Germany. I cancelled Euro delivery.

They would store it for me until the weather breaks. Euro delivery on this car would entail calling in a big favor, so if the delivery event is done right by PNA, I'm OK with that. If it's parade laps around Barber, I would rather wait until Spring for Euro delivery.

Are they keeping the event a surprise, or can you get more detail?
It would be a torturous wait for the weather to get nice. Could be June..
Maybe better bring it to South and enjoy is sooner?

Can't get any detail on the event yet. Maybe something will be revealed in Nov. When Porsche doesn't want to talk they don't talk. Still trying to confirm the GT3RS LE. All I've been told about that car is that I'm first in line at my dealer "if (with a big smile on his face)" the car exists.
