It was just over $200 for the MKII RS spoiler. I bought a bunch of stuff and the shipping was resonable.
Suncoast wanted $200 just to ship the spoiler.

Eerrr ... I just got one from Suncoast, (which cost around $216) and they charged about $10 to UPS Ground it to Ca ... did you select overnight or something?

there are 2 ways to ship these
1 - it is rolled up and ships cheap
2 - it is extended and packed in a rather large box with lots of filler
but it should not cost 100 to ship as it will only weight 10-20lbs max
I have ordered them each way. I prefer the rolled up way. GMG

I have 2 spare front lips, one of which is new in wrapping for when I get rid of the car. For the street when some thing happens, for example when I wen through a parking garage and the ramps were too steep, I swap to my spare. To refinish, I use a sanding block with 300 grit sand paper and sand down the effected area(s). I then hit it with flat black flexible bumper primer. It matches the OEM color perfectly. I did one of them in gloss black, but it flakes off too easy. The flat black bumper primer doesn't flake off at all. I can swap front lips in 5-10 minutes, so it really isn't a big deal getting the car car-show prepped.

I don't feel so bad now... I was wondering if I am just a noob or what, because I've only got 120 miles on the car and it's already scuffed up.
The worst part is that you can't hear it scraping most of the time so you have to look to see.
Any tips on avoiding the scrape? My driveway is one of those rounded curb ones, which is difficult to navigate and I think that's where mine is getting scuffed. I've been using the lift every time I get anywhere near something I think I'll rub on, but I still scuffed it up. Pissed.

I just replaced my OEM 997.2 lip with a Cup lip from GMG. Fabryce was easy to deal with and he shipped it up to Canada for me. S&H was not expensive and it was rolled up. No big deal as they are flexible.
The lip is low and I scrape every entry/exit to my condo. I can fit three of my fingers between the ground and the front lip,... Tom said it right: treat it as a disposable item.

Got my new Gt3 and promptly scraped the top of the spoiler on a parking berm - 2 inch x 4 inch looks to have been sanded with 60 grit paper. No rip or tear but it sure looks ugly. Is a repair possible?
Is there a vendor here for parts? I just know the dealer will marinate me with pricing.

Replacement: $250-spoiler, $275-RS lip, plus shipping. Looking around $580...ouch!
I took it to a bodyshop; they sanded out all imperfections & painted it the same flat black. Now it looks like brand new. Cost: $150.00. Well worth it.

Thanks for the heads up...
After having my chin spolier sanded & painted I took a drive with a few other Porsches. When I returned home I found that the whole spolier was chipped up again! To make matters worse, I sraped the spoiler along the front again.
I'm going to order some Plasti-dip.
