Thanks for the replies. Whatever the reason, it does not make me happy. I will follow up with the dealer. Who would you contact at PCNA?
Does the crippled mode limit RPM or speed? The thought of someone playing around and revving to 8,000+ in neutral is not good. My salesman thought crippled mode still allowed speeds of 20 - 30.

The miles most likely were put on at the port, and I'm sure they had a good reason. I've been to several of the ports on many occasions, and there are often cars there that need attention in one form or another when they come off the ship. I've even seen a GT3 being road tested at one of them after correcting some sort of fuel delivery issue, and believe me there is no cripple mode on. Then again, no reason PCNA wouldn't be able to turn it off and then back on before shipping it to the dealer.
Really no reason to worry though. All of the PCNA people I have met are 110% professional. There is no way they were just goofing around joy riding.

It's a GT3 RS. It can take a lot of abuse. Even if someone drove it for 50 miles, the perceived "abuse" is far less than 50 miles on a track.
Enjoy the car, but don't obsess over it.
Congratulations.

Factory wouldn't put that many miles on a test drive, their testing of cars off the line is very very minimal these days. 30+ miles just around Stuttgart is a lot in terms of a 'shakedown'.

Ok, I got the analysis log. Total of 2.0 hours of operation and 3 driving cycles (I think this means it has reached operating temp 3 times). Dealer tech had it out today for prep, so that leaves 2 other cycles to account for. One stationery at the factory and probably one long test at the factory. Delivery ECU mode limits speed (not rpm) to 22 mph (35kph), so it would not be possible to put 54 miles in during the first 2driving cycles in crippled mode with only 2.0 hours total of operation. So, still a bit of a mystery. Also, no over revs recorded.

I would not waorry about it, except when the miles are added by the local dealer.
Mine had 16 miles when the truck unloaded it at the dealer.
I told the dealer I do not want any miles added and flatbedded it to C2 Design to get the work done to the car and picked it up there with 16 miles.

what's the worry about the miles? you'll cover that anyway as soon as you leave the dealership. so long as the car is in perfect brand new condition with the full warranty, there is nothing to worry. just drive it off and put a smile on your face.
