If you're gonna go BMW colors, I suggest AVUS blus, which was on the e36 M3 in 1995 only. (That was the color I had.) It is very similar to Porsche's new Aqua Blue, but richer, and with a clear coat that made the car look under water. I got more compliments on the color of that car than any car I've ever had.

Estoril is sick, but I wouldn't option for it on a Porsche... Cobalt is still king to me

My GT3 that I spec'd back before I got my GT2 was cobalt/yellow stitch, pccbs, yellow belts mmm..

Dream GT3 RS would be cobalt with black wheels, ceramics, black graphics, blue stitch, Vic do it man

Don't know about the cobalt. I like it but I still have dreams of my e36 for some reason.

Hey how did the settings work out for you?

Estoril is def. a special color indeed, it would look bad *** on the GT3 that's for sure!

Settings couldn't even be fully done, and it was still a night and day difference.. My car will be getting the needed added components, stiffer springs, and a bunch of other goodies thenw ill be fully redone again in a few weeks in time for VIR.. Been meaning to give you a ring to chat, but just caught up with work stuff :/ I'll speak with you soon, a thread is also long overdue with praises going out to you and Lex at Moton for hooking me up!!

+1 I really miss that beautiful Avus Blau on my 95 M3. It's a very deep and complex color. I tried to get it on my 2002 M3, but they wouldn't do it. One or two did come to the US with Avus, but it stopped.

OTOH, I really love the Estoril that Victor wants to get. I'd be ecstatic with either.

Ruf Auto Center in Dallas has a pre-owned Estoril Blue Ruf 996 RGT. That should give you a good idea of what that color looks like on a 911.

Man memories, I had two e36 M3's: one was Avus Blue (grey interior) and the other Estoril Blue (modena natur interior)...great cars.

As for blue, the new Aqua blue looks like the one if you like blue.
