Default Need to sit in a 997 w/ Roll Bar & Seats in CT

Title sums it up well. Before I decide on which roll bar and seats, I'd like to sit in a 997 (preferably a GT3) with a roll bar, seats, and harness. I'm in central CT and can hit southern MA or Westchester CO pretty easily. Anyone?

996GT3 full leather seats are going into my C2S this week, along with a set of 6 points. No roll bar though, going with the Brey Krous setup. I'll PM when done or just wait until Zone 1.

Thanks, but I need to see the roll bar setup - want to see the visibility, see how far back a seat can go, etc. I've read some roll bars really limit rear travel on the seat and I have long legs. Care to share why you aren't going with a roll bar?

99% of the car use is autocross. I do maybe 6 DE days a year. I doubt there would be any visibility issues, both of my P cars have a wing to look atthrough the rearview and I don't have any problems with that. I could be wrong but I think the GMG roll bar allows more seat travel. Problem with most all race seats is that they have a fixed back. You could spring for the new GT2 $eat$.

That's what my plan is - New GT2 seats to gain easier access to the rear for storage / track gear and I like having the airbag / oem compliance for street driving. I'm struggling right now with the whole bar or no-bar (harness truss) concept. One of the things suggesting maybe just a truss is I've seen some video recently of 997 product rolling multiple times and the roof structure (without a roll bar) appears to be incredibly stiff.

I went with the big harness truss from BK in my car and it takes 10min to remove it when not used.

I don't see anything out the back with the DAS bar.

My car has Recaro XPG XL Profil seats., DAS "Weekender" half-cage. I'm 6'3", 215 #, with 33" inseam.

I need to drive with the seat in the most rearward position, and the seatback contacts the rollbar with "squeaky" noise.

This works for me, but only just! The driving position is OK for track, but marginal for street use.

Thanks guys, this is the stuff I need to hear as there don't appear to be any 997s (base, S, GT3, TT, etc.) in my area that I can take a look at. I want a roll bar, but don't want to have my seat travel limited (I have long legs) nor do I want vision much obstructed (already loose some to the wing). Trying to find the "right" bar or resort to a truss (which I wouldn't have considered until I saw recent footage of a 997 without roll bar rolling on the Ring - amazing how sturdy the roof is in these cars).
