Carbon illuminated door sills

Anyone remove these yet? Wondering how they are held in place and if the light is removable from the plate? Looking to wrap with pprotection film.

I don't have the illuminated ones, but I had my CF sills wrapped by Premier without having them removed. It can be done without removal.
