Since August 2006, when I put a deposit down on an RS, I've been keeping notes on who is getting what.

I had all this info, so I decided to throw it up on a web site for all to enjoy...

If you have information on a GT3 RS, shoot me a message and I'll add it. I'd like to list them all by their VINs.

If there's incorrect information, or anything that you don't want on the site, let me know and I'll remove it.

Everything on the site was taken from public posts, 90% from Rennlist, and 10% from other sources, such as 6SpeedOnline.

I'm a computer guy (Solaris Security Admin), but not a web site designer, so it is what it is. Nothing fancy.

I thought about adding pictures of each car to each car's page, but don't know if that would be proper without getting permission from the photographers, etc.. Wherever permission is given I'll be happy to add pics.

My first thought was to list just the American GT3 RSs, but I had data for a few ROW GT3 RS, and added them. I guess we can include all RSs.

I welcome suggestions. Maybe a page for recommended track alignment specs, or a page listing all the part numbers that differ from the 997 GT3.

The last 4 digits of the VIN (the car's serial number):

ROW cars
lowest VIN 0811 (in Hong Kong)
another low one 1374 (Bahrain)

makes sense - they got theirs first, so their VINs are lower


US cars
lowest VIN is 2357 (built January 2007)
highest VIN is 2806 (delivered May 2007)*

* one anomoly = 3843 is probably a typo on the eBay listing
(it was listed on eBay as WP0AD29907S783843 so it's
obviously incorrect right off the bat)



Canadian cars
2571 is in the US range
9251 (Racerron's) is way out of the normal VIN range

Ron - are you sure that's not a 2251?

About 1/3 of the USA RSs are accounted for - 75 out of 229.
