anyone have part# for a 380mm Ceramic Motorsport Pad...
- local Porsche dealer can't find a part number in the Porsche system for any other pad than the stock 997 ceramic pad
- he said there is a part number for the 996gt3 ceramics that is a more aggressive pad but not yet for the 997 in his system
- he suggested I see if I can find if Porsche Motorsport has a pad / part# for a more aggressive pad
1) does anyone have a part #
2) has anyone tried to order them?
3) has anyone used them?
4) if none of the above, how about on the 996gt3 350mm ceramics, anyone try the more aggressive pad? - is it streetable from a noise perspective? and from a colder temp street driving perspective?
thanks

i don't know for sure whether you can use the popular RS19/29 but they have some ceramic pads so very likely you can find something that works

I'm likely going to spend more time with my 997 GT3 at DE's than on the open road. So I asked my dealer what competition pad should I change to for my PCCB's. They suggested I contact CDOC, who, hopefully, has had alot of experience with this aspect of 997 ceramic brakes.
CDOC didn't have a recommendation. They, in turn, chose to contact Pagid.
Pagid's recommendation for DE's was to stick with the pads Porsche installed with the PCCB's at the factory. Pagid didn't have another pad to recommend.
I'm running at VIR on Wednesday so I'll provide some follow-up after that.

For most DE participants the "street" ceramic composite pads that came with the car are good enough. be careful using the "green" race pads for PCCBs as they are a lot more abrasive on the rotors. Unless you're racing and involved in 6 hour enduros...the street pads will do.
As an aside, neither Pagid nor any other authorized vendor will sell or recommend any other than the "street" black pads for use with PCCBs. Do not use any other pad either. Now some here will tell you they have successfully used Pagid 19 on PCCBs...but largely on the Gen 1 rotors. This Gen is different.
