saw my first 997 GT3 in the flesh today
I was at Champion Motorsports today, in my 40th Anny car, getting a 4-wheel alignment and new center caps & lug bolts for my RG5s. The owner just took delivery of his personal GT3 in triple black...he already has 19" RG5s on it...has a real menacing presence, looks very Darth Vader. Sorry, no pics.
Tons of 997TTs here, but this was the first 997 GT3 I'd seen on the street. Interesting that it's marginally (if at all) lower than my car, which they previously lowered...though the lip definitely extends farther forward than on the 996 w/turbo bumper, and mine has plenty of scars.

Just tracked with one at CMP last w/e. That **** was FAST!!!!! He came up on me so fast the rear end twitched as he realized the speed differential was so great and slammed on the brakes (and I wasn't going slow 
)

My bad, it was just "black on black". With tinted windows, all the black trim like the air vent at the front of the hood, and the black GT3 badge, it just looked...very black. Brings a Spinal Tap line to mind...
