I think it would depend on what you use the car for. If you track it, then it would make a difference. For the street, although the slight improvement in performance is still there, it would be less noticable. Be careful though, it may void your warrantee even though it is a Porsche part (even if it is installed by the dealer).

I have it installed in mine and I highly recommend it. I can't stand the dual mass unit. The LWFW frees up the motor and feels more connected to the throttle. It revs up quicker and the revs drop quicker. No trouble driving on the street and no stalling issues.

I have installed a number of these in GT3s. Most driver's did do DEs, but most thought the car was WAY more fun to drive on the street. VERY good and cost effective upgrade.

I have one on my 996 thanks to VIper BOb and its alot more fun to drive on track or street.
