I don't think. i am trying to maximize my profits, market dectates prices, the car is worth as much as someone is paying for it, when demand is low price goes down,

most ppl who can afford these car are very smart and logical.
you CLEARLY are from another plannet.
it is true that price is adjusted by demand, we ALL understand that simple economics. the prob we have is when a business agrees to a price then renegs b/c they left money on the table, they are wrong and will not prosper long.

say in real estate, if i agreed to sell my parcel at $1M to a buyer, then next guys shows up willing to pay me $2M, i will still sell it to the first buyer b/c a contract has been made. i was an idiot to leave money on the table thus i have to eat the difference.

how long have you been in sales? two days?
i does'nt matter how much RS is worth here, in taiwan, in sg, in UAE or on mars. what matters is the agreed upon price. if you and i agreed to pay $10M for RS, then you have every right to sell it to me at $10M. if you and i agreed to msrp, that is what i will pay not 1/2 cent more.

do you understand the concept of a contract? these are binding, legal instruments. if the seller is as bored as i am, i would even go sue the dealership and take them down.

you really got no clue.
most of us have no problem put large deposits. i know of ppl who's deposit = $123,000 in cash. that is not a problem, and i have 25k on mine. i also know dealer requesting $0 in deposit for RS. most RS buyer are repeat porsche buyers. if you want to sell me the next 15 cars in 3 years, make me happy.

you NEED to talk to your council before we take you down. in CA, the customer can request refund at any time, regardless of how they ordered it. i can order it in puke and egg **** all over. i can ask you to refund it. this is CA law. i didn't make them.

now, you can ask me to sign a contract agreeing to non refundable deposit. i have no prob with that.

however, dealers CANNOT return deposits on will. unless you truely dont have allocation. otherwise what is deposit good for.

assume this: you have ONE RS coming, you take 25k in deposit from 100ppl, that's $2.5M. you can use that as your operating capital interest free. thus if a dealer is allowed to refund at will, why do they bother to have line of credit with banks?

now customer can request refunds at will (unless prior agreement has been signed by both parties) b/c this is how CA law is written. is it fair to the dealer? maybe not? but 1) i didn't make the law and 2) dealers do make profit on sales, they run a BUSINESS, business have risks and profits. if i ordered puke and requested a refund, well, that IS the risk of your business, deal with it.

i as a customer should not bear ANY risk in such a purchase. this logic is true for every line of business.
