US GT3 RS Allocations

Just so people are aware....I got the inside scoop today (some of you already know this info).
Official allocations are 229 for the US, starting in January 2007, and they all will be 2007 models (not 2008). And yes, a lot of dealers that thought they were getting them, aren't.
After talking to EVERY dealer in the country, there are NO cars left available. (unless people back out). The actual dealer allocations got announced early this week, so if a dealer is still saying "maybe", then the answer is "no". A lot of places I thought had open allocations don't....so probably the only place to pick cars up will be on the secondary market (I'll sell mine after I put a few thousand track miles on it next summer!).

Thanks for the info...my salesman and the GM were out the last couple of days, so hopefully my dealer will get at least 2 since I'm 2nd on the list.
