I have had an alcantara Ruf wheel on one of my turbos for several years and it has held up very well. It certainly doesn't have a "skanky" smell. It looks great and has excellent grip. I wouldn't have any other wheel.

Thanks for the feedback. Good to know...

I've only seen Alcantara used on "non-flesh-contact" applications like headliners and other trim surfaces.

I think the subliminal connection to suede had me worried about its use on a steering wheel!

If you order "code 18 Natural Leather" do you receive the same areas covered in leather as if you ordered "code 78 Black Full Leather"?
