I have soul sides and sharkwerks street exhaust. Its valved and I really like the sound. I think it sounds quiet with valve closed, nice rumble at low rpm and screams from there. I had soul center and sides but felt it rumbled and droned too much. As somewhat stated earlier, sound is mostly personal preference.

Perfect! This is the setup I’ll try first. Do you deal with much drone with this setup?

I have modified stock header (car graphic 200 cell cats) fvd side delete lower only and oem tinmuffler. I love it. I’ve had center deletes but this is quiet around my neighborhood and loud as **** when I’m hammering it.

My .1 I just did center deletes, Sharkwerks and JCR.

I just picked up a .2 and it already has long tube headers, side delete single exit, and OEM steel center with top inlets blocked off (similar to the cup cars). It's loud. It drones.. Sounds amazing, but the the drone vibrates the interior and it's just too much for me.

Does anyone know if swapping out the side delete to a 200 cell cat reduce the drone and volume? Is there an ultra-quiet center that will help? I'm hoping to add cats for smell reasons, and quiet down the whole thing while keeping the long tube headers.

No drone with this FVD set up. Headers to 200 cell to rear muffler.

But going to try a new setup.

I have Fabspeed headers with high flow cats, valved side deletes going into stock center muffler.
In my opinion it's the perfect setup. I can unplug the valves if I want constant loud, or I can cruise on the highway in quiet mode.
No drone with either setting. Dumped those heavy side mufflers and gained lots of room to tinker if needed.
Also had side mufflers with center delete and it sounded ok, but the thought of having those very heavy heat soakers in the *** end of my car just didn't sit right with me.

Sounds like headers + cats, no sides, stock center is the way to go. Time to head to True Performance to swap them out.

Yea, you definitely need some sort of muffler to kill the drone. But if you're feeling adventurous, straight piped from headers/cats sounds epic haha

The quality of the FVD looks light years ahead of the TP's system.

Yea the quality is really good with these FVD systems.

Ed. Did you end up selling your exhaust system or you still have it?

We do a lot of the Soul valved setups. Popular with no complaints! We have some in stock.

I still have my system on the car. After the rattle fix, I'm loving it again. Civil when I want it to be and insanely angry when it needs to be. I'm in talks to make a swap with another member but it takes some money on my end and I just want to recover from the E88 and clubsport bar purchases.
