I’ve been using this- hard to beat for $14. I plug it into the console.

Bit more on the extreme end of things, but I went with a kit from CAI. The radio is really dated on our cars and I'm pleased to have Bluetooth, Apple Carplay, modern navigation, etc. Relatively plug-and-play, IIRC just 3 wires to T-tap.

That one listed above is just an FM transmitter and those don't sound great and are often problematic on road trips.

What head unit do you have PCM or the CD30?

If PCM look for LA Power. There's an extensive thread in the 997 forum. I bought one for my 06 S and it's easy and was $120.
It taps right into the Fiber System.

If CDR, Try this one.

LaPower looks good.

Had Dension gateway on my 08 turbo - "CD error" message on start up, every time.

I installed a Pioneer NEX-4000, a 4 channel amp in the bottom of the frunk, and replacement Focal speakers in the factory locations a few years ago. I found a trim ring that matches the factory interior, and now I have CarPlay (Waze in my dash) and WAY better sound than the factory gear. I put the old head unit on a shelf for posterity but it seems unlikely I will ever think about it again.

I didn't want anything too excessive or heavy but this was well worth it.

I used this in a 09 Cab, worked good. I enjoy the RS noises, so have not tried it in there.

In previous threads on the topic I've seen people suggest this device:

Amazon Amazon

It feeds the audio in through the antenna, but it's hard wired into the antenna path which I think is prob better than a mini FM transmitter.

I got the ZEEPORTE last week and it works great. Quality is perfect in my opinion, similar to a regular radio station.
