Default Back in (Grey) Black

Bought a 2010 RS driver.

So, I flew out to Chicago, and drove it back to NJ. 871 miles over two days.

Other than a freak Thunderstorm in Toledo, and rain all across Pennsylvania (good thing the sport cups had lots of tread) - was an epic journey.

So much improved over 3.6.

Fuel for the ride - Boeufhaus Chicago

Yes, I had a 2007 RS. Sport seats red brakes.

The bump in HP and TQ is spot on. Downforce and suspension improvements really help at speed.

997.1 was a bit under-powered and loose/twitchy at speed w/ the hammer down.

Had a turbo in between which was/is a torque sledgehammer - so its hard to recall exact differences.

In short, vastly improved over 997.1 GT3/RS

Congrats and kudos. Finally someone using the car for its intended purpose and not driving it 10 miles to and from C&C. Enjoy it.

Can’t take em with you. Might as well enjoy the ride.

Yes Barrington. Kind of in suburbs, like 3 or 4 marks side by side.

Funny, picture from 2016 at Manhattan Motorcars - my car was the white turbo. It augured well.

Loving the RS.

Congrats and enjoy in good health!
I love the 997.2 3.8 RS. I also agree with your comparison between the 3.8 and 3.6 RS.
