Default Oslo Blue RS

Does anyone know the background? I know it has a replacement engine. But any paint stories or other BS? Good looking car. Likewise with the Riviera Blue at Fresno. Thanks in advance! Josh

There’s been a ton of talk for this in the “Cars for Sale thread”

From what I understand it has a replacement engine due to an engine fire.

I guess Iringslam doesn't understand market pricing. I'd rather have my old Green RS.1.

They finally moved the price down in the last few months. I watched it stay at 349k for a full 2 years. Their cars are nice but they have no problem sitting on their cars forever. Odd.

I know right? It's hard to believe but there was a time about 4 years ago when PTS 3.8 RS's were always 250-300K and sometimes more. Hard to believe...

Wow! It was $349k??!!! Absolutely insane. Anyone living in the Bay Area knew they could have bought a new CGT for $350K. A very specific Red CGT at Rector sat forever at that price. I almost bought it. I knew I should have bought two of them. Argh. Red and Yellow were very difficult colors to move. Now they are very desirable. JBO

Colors are cool but paying more than 10-20% more for the same car is insane imo.

Dirty little secret. They all drive the same.

PNH sold my 22k mile Vesuvio Metallic 1 of 1 PTS 997.2RS for $200k with a CPO back in 2017. No way that car gets $200k today.

They bought it for under 200 for sure. I looked at it when for sale at last place and I swear it was bought around 16x,xxx (due to engine issue). Immediately listed for 349 after they picked it up. I just laughed.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
It is just the way it is and it will not change.

Classic. It’s their prerogative to sell the car for whatever they want BUT this is attitude that gets dealers in trouble with buyers who understand the market. Ooh, PTS market is on fire, let’s steal it and mark it up 180k since it’s one of one. Hilarious. We should all start calling and making offers for 180k.
