The funny thing about RS graphics is initially you just want them off. And then you see a super clean PTS car with no graphics and you really want them off. Then you slowly start to appreciate the bold unique over the top style from Porsche. Then you realize how crazy people get when they see 7RSís with the graphics. Then one day you look at them in the garage and you love them and canít imagine the car without them because it is original and identifies one of the best 911ís ever made.

^ What I came to realize. Initially I wanted them off of my 997RS before purchase but then when I saw the car in person with graphics and all it just worked. It's completely over the top and boy racer and that's what I love about it. Wing, graphics and all. It makes me feel like a kid.

Someone can do it. Just make sure to ask for the original Porsche font and size if you go aftermarket. Use a reputable place like Ki Studios or similar that you can discuss with. I have been burned before buying from less expensive places that claim to be original. If your graphics have been on long enough on the sun/fade areas you will have an outline after the originals come off. You may or may not be able to remove through aggressive buffing. As far as color goes I think a quality custom vendor can match. Iím shocked Porsche would not have the originals in Gold. Not sure I believe that? But they will be silly expensive..

I have never been a fan of the Renault-style graphics and removed them a long time ago. I had the 997-1 graphics for a while:

But then I decided that less is more. Here's a more recent photo:

The .1 graphic is cool. For me the originals are staying.

Never wanted them on. Until I decided to sell since the majority of people like stickers. Looks good either way but IMO the gray black is enough visual joy.

Truth spoken by a real owner.

When you pull the car out, it's hair on fire so who cares. This is no daily. Celebrate...

👍 These things want their neck rung over and over and are more than happy to do it. Never seen a car like it. Hair on fire for sure...
