Default SmokiesGT make-a-wish.....

Hello fellas;

Is anybody bringing down a 997.2 RS to the Smokies? If so, if you could make my make-a-wish to drive your car, you will complete me. I have fascinated about this car since the day it was released. I have a manual 991.2 GT3 you can have a go in as a token of my sincerest appreciation.

cheers

Come to the fall event and you can drive mine. Bringing my 18 GT3 to the spring event. Sorry. Or if you are ever in Wisconsin you are welcome to take her for a spin. I am fairly certain there will be a few 997.2RS at this spring event

Thank you! I’ll try to book for the fall event also. Hopefully I can coordinate with my work.

Many thanks

Hahaha noted
seems like WI is an RS hotspot....exact opposite of Pittsburgh lol

I know of one .2RS in the area. White one. Belongs to a transplant surgeon. Tracks it like a feen. Lots of battle scars. Stores it in a local hospital garage during the winter! Boss. Unfortunately don’t know him well enough.

GT Smokies experts..... since I'm a new member & have not done any of the driving events yet....

I didn't get into the upcoming Spring '19 trip, but was told the registration opened up back in Nov '18.

So assuming the Spring '20 trip registration will open in Nov '19,.... Question: Does the registration open up for Fall '19 very soon?

seems like a 6 month lead-time on regi.

Fall is a very small event and harder to get into obviously. If you are registered as a member you will get emails/notifications when registration opens up for any of the events. Hope that helps

yep. Knew that tasman. ... I just like to put reminders on my phone calendar around the time those emails come out, so I can keep a keen eye out for them. That's why I was wondering if the Fall event has a similar 6 month leadtime on that email coming out & Regi opening up.

I'm no stranger to driving events that sell out within minutes,....

Not really a set window. If I see something I'll try to send you a reminder if I can remember. Hope to see ya at one of the events
