haha, yea & then we don't drive them to protect the coating on the film coating the ceramic that protects the paint

but for the "Light" product, "protect" it does not. Hydrophobic does not protect. ... but yea the "PPF" (I call it 5H) does protect against swirl & scratch. But it's free with the package so why not!

Rest assured, car is driven how Porsche intended. All the more reason for the paint protection.

In a nutshell, the film protects the paint from bigget impacts like small rocks being thrown up by the car you're following. The ceramic coating will make removing the tire marks from the paint or film a lot easier for a lot longer period of time than traditional wax.

Well that’s amazing. It is cheaper to just Re spray bumper, bonnet, lower sills, than do all that coating locally (in Australia).

You'll take a big depreciation hit if you do that here in the states.

I can't imagine not having some type of film on the car if you track it at all. When I look at all the dings in the film that never made it to the paint it seems worth every penny.

Agree 1000%. I'm a big believer. Especially when they only sold 580 of the 964 Turbo's in 1991 here in the U.S., and they are so hard to find in good shape. I'm protecting mine in every way shape & form that I can. Especially given I have driven it 21,000 miles over the last 15 yrs.

Very true and I’ve always thought about this before putting film on cars (3 separate cars now). The good thing about the film is you never have to look at stone chips, which is good for the OCD types. I would only do it for an absolute keeper though. Off topic, I believe you are mates with Simon who now has my old GT3 and my father now has your old GT2. Small world!
