Is it just me, or does that seem a bit pricey for a 31K mile GT3 with aftermarket wheels? Obviously wheels can be changed back that price seems a bit strong.

That's exactly what I was thinking. What do you think would be a reasonable price?

That car is worth 85-90k.

That was my GT3, I traded it in on a R8 RWS. I was the only owner, factory delivery. It was a great car for me for 11 years until I decided to try something else for awhile, i.e. R8. I still have 4 other Porsches, so still in the family. :)

Beautiful GT3. What happened to the OEM wheels?

Seems as though the asks on 997.1’s is strong. This one seems on the higher side but the condition may warrant it. Agree that the aftermarket wheels detract from the value.

I traded it in with both the HRE and Factory wheels at an Audi dealership in the DFW area. I don't know what the dealership did with the car or the wheels, or how it got to San Antonio Ferrari dealership.

Any particular reason why values are high?

Simple Economics - Supply vs. Demand

If you think they are high now, just wait until Spring when prices usually increase.

Values seem high meaning high retained value relative to what they sold for new. How many 12 yr old cars are selling for this close to MSRP?

Why? Others here can probably better answer this but: it’s a great car that is only ‘improving’ with age (regarded as more alaogue than current GT cars, more fun); relatively low production numbers; old enough that values seemed to have stabilized.

Probably because there are no similar replacements at under 100k. Maybe GT4....maybe. That's about it.
