hi guys.

its been a couple years since i left.

sold my .2 gt3 2 years ago, now I'm back with .1 gt3rs pumkin.

car currently has kw suspension, but one of shock absorbers blew up recently.

cant fix it anywhere in Korea so i decided to have new one.

attached pics are the ones I'm interested in.

first one is a combo of custom bilstein shock & eibach race double spring set up

and the second one is ohlin sport suspension.

both are being sold by FVD brombacher and prices are same.

I prefer stiff one.

any commend or advice will be very helpful and appriciated. thank you.

I'm a big fan of Ohlins.

thank you RAudi for the comment.

Likewise. I have a top level pro sports car / LMP driver buddy and he has always recommended Ohlins. He said Penskes are the best but unless I had a full time engineer they'd be overkill. Best Josh

The Ohlins. I had the Ohlins single adjustable road and track on my car for a few years, they are on another car buddies now and work fantastic, especially for the price. I changed to.... upgraded Ohlins TTX.

But, I mean i'm always a fan of new gear, but surprised nobody can rebuild a shock there, did you reach out to KW?

+1 Ohlins

Of the two, probably Ohlins. Unless you like the factory ride stiffness adjustment, and those happen to be custom valved B16s which are compatible with the factory suspension adjustment electronics, in which case, maybe the Bilsteins for that application. I ended up going TPC DSC controller + Tractive DDA coilovers because I like how my suspension adjusts itself from just hitting a button while I'm driving, but I was originally going to go with the TPC DSC + Bilstein B16s, until I decided to just go the whole 9 yards with the Tractive DDAs.

Question, can't ship those KW out of country for repairs? I'm sure they can fix it in Germany, and I know for sure they can fix those here in Migook. I'd verify that there's a Bilstein or Ohlins repair shop somewhere in Hangook otherwise you're going to be in a similar situation if anything ever happens to your new suspension. I don't know if anyone follows the repair schedule for Ohlins and don't know specifically for TTX, but they have a fairly aggressive rebuild schedule with a rebuild recommend every 15,000 miles for Ohlins R&T, but I'd say ease of access for rebuilds either way is something to consider.

You may want to look into a set of Tractive in conjunction with DSC, IMHO they're phenomenal, and yes I'm biased (I sell Tractive). https://www.dscsport.com/tractive-suspension/

Contact them or me directly for pricing on Tractive Systems.
