Sure SW could do 4.2 but the 4.1 is the SW recipe for overall character of the M97/77
Anyone know when an engine rebuild is needed and the associated cost on the 997.2RS through Porsche? IMO this would be the time to get the conversion done.

I agree with FLT6SPD. However I would include the 996 versions. If you haven't driven one I recommend everyone check them out. I've had several GT versions of both the 996 and 997. If you want to read the best single series of articles about what makes our cars so special read the 000 issue that profiled the 996 GT3. It will give another level of respect for our cars. They are genuinely special. jbo
