Ray, keep in mind the front 997 section won't fit a 996 car. You will need the front 996 section to couple to the 997 rear

Thanks John, I thought I had read that folks were successful in bolting them up. I better check on this.

The front 997 section interferes with the dash in the area of the air vents. I believe you would have to cut those out to clear the front section bars. I have the rear 997 section and the front 996 and the fit is perfect. The problem is that the 996 front section is no longer produced/sold.

Are you specifically looking for the 996 GT3RS front section? I have a 996 GT3 Clubsport front section , but that has a single bar at the A-Pilars and no side-bars.

Hi Ray, I have a complete 996 front section w/door bars that I bought from a member here a few years ago and never installed; and at this point probably never will. If your interested its located in NYS.

John:

What does the 997 rear section cost?

Andy: PM sent

Driftking: Thanks but I really am looking for as good as I can get for 'bolt-in', and I would think that shipping to the US is a bit pricy

Last time I checked Gert at Carnewal still had clubsport cages. Email him if you cannot find it on the site. http://www.carnewal.com/

Last cage Gert had sold almost a year ago. He is not able to get any more as IVM quit making these at that time.

May I ask if you have posted any pictures of your setup?

Hi All,

I have decided to use a Safety Devices cage. Bolt in, race legal, minimal welding and 1/4 the price of the Porsche part.
