Congratulations! I just picked up a 07 as well. Rough around the edges is exactly how I like mine! it means we get to put our signature on the cars and drive them the way Porsche intended.
Cheers and good health.

Nice pickup. Guards red is one of my favorite colors on any 911. I'm biased though. Did you pick up that car from Matt @ SGP? Looks familiar

Looks great!

I didn't go through Matt. I went direct to the owner who's a friend. But yah, this is that car. Far from perfect, but perfect for me!

Sorry to keep littering your thread but I grew up in the Valley and my dad's office was in Westwood. I dig your Integra R and your GT3 and SC! I've had two SCs and an 84 Carrera. I went the watercooled VW path and I had a full Gen.2 Scirocco Kamei X1 build. I also did a 72 240Z, 87 RX7, 94 RX7 FD base model white / black cloth (first new car). Followed by tons of other stuff. I'm old Anyway that was a long intro to say I love your projects. Next level! My first SC was featured on the cover of Excellence Magazine September 2001 and my second SC was featured on the Excellence Magazine renewal card insert for over a decade. Anyway I bought my .1 GT3 to take apart and build. I haven't done something like this since the SC. It nearly killed me I think we like similar stuff.
Best Josh

PS Please post a link so I can follow your SC build. Looking forward to following it!

I don't know how to post pics. Like I said I'm old and took a very long break from the boards. If someone shoots me an email I can send at least one pic of the majority of my cars including my CGT and GT2s. I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't have a single pic without serious digging of the GT3 RS, two of my GT2s, my Challenge Stradale or my F40. I'm soo old that only one member around here has seen my cars. That's Mooty. He and Tye and several other guys you will meet are incredible resources as you do your 997 build. They have faaaaaaar more knowledge than me. Anyway if Ryan shoots me and email to my PM I will email pics of at least one pic of some of the stuff. I posted the date of the SC article so anyone can check it: out. Like I said sorry to derail your thread. I was basically very excited to meet someone with similar interests. Hit me up! Best Josh PS I was mostly known around CA for my Grand Prix White CGT
