Btw, I found the hawk DTC 60 to have highly corrosive brake dust. I use fallout remover to catalyze all the ferrous dust and a quick rinse usually gets rid of all of it.

We use PFC11 on 997 Cup cars, 991 GT3 streets cars, and GT4's. All good.

I used PFC11 with NT01 tires on my 7.1 GT3 once, and I have one customer with the 7.1 GT3 who used PFC11 with Hoosier R7, for some odd reason on neither of these two 7.1 GT3 the factory ABS system didn't play well with this pad; the ABS engages with medium brake pressure. I have heard of other 7.1 GT3 owners with better experience with this pad. What tires are you using?

Which ST track compound did you use? What didn't you like about it?

I had the R34. The pad wore well, but I had a few issues. The major issue was the pad just got too hot. As my sessions went on I the brakes would fade and I would lose confidence in the pads and was moving my breaking point earlier and earlier. Running this with the ST Trophy calipers on all corners and NT01s.

Thanks for the info. I was running factory calipers and hoses(ST calipers use banjo fitting lines that I think might have smaller ID), so that might be the variable to trigger the outcome.

A pad that I want to try in the future is Raysbestos ST43. These pads do wonders on my friends' tracked prepped Viper ACR's with 700hp, 3300 lbs.

I was curious about the Raysbestos and the Pagids. They're on my list to test once these PFCs wear out. Looking to NOT spend $1k for pads!

Fluid: get better than Super blue. Endless RB650, Brembo HTC64T, SRF are all good choices

Stainless lines: only worth it if you need to replace your lines, they aren't fresh, or are cracking... otherwise no need really.
exactly this. And Hawk DTC70

i prefer RE-10 pads for steel rotors and SRF fluid.
Pagid pads with ST ceramic rotors.

There doesn’t seem to be a need for it..
To me it just becomes a maintenance / inspection item.

I would definitely use braided lines. If you are driving long and hard enough, especially at Laguna where you could lose pressure from the rubber lines

Cup cars use same lines as street cars. Porsche lines are nylon reinforced. OEM lines are just fine and easier to inspect for damage than braided lines.

Yep. In IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge during the 997 years, all cars must race with factory brake hoses, which is same as street car. Not to say aftermarket brake hoses are any less but we have not experienced brake hose issue during those years on any race tracks with 20+ podiums and two championships.
