Considering one of two Gt3's... questions
I'm back on the hunt for a good Gen 2 997 GT3. I may just have to scratch this itch. I've found two of them locally, both with steel brakes and LWBS, both low miles and both asking a fair price.
A) Black - 13,125 miles - $124,500 USDs - coolant lines not pinned, rear diff = ?
B) White with red seat belts - 15,000 miles - $131,500 USDs - coolant lines not pinned, diff unknown
Anyone have any thoughts on the price. I get the idea that with the Gen 2 991's out nearly impossible to get the 997s are holding their own.
Thanks in advance...

Have you looked in the classifieds here? Those both look ~20k high to me based off of the small amount of detail that you've provided. You should be able to get into a non bucket car for 100-110 without much issue.

Joel, I assume the white one is the one you checked out last summer and the black one belongs to Blitzkrieg? If so, I know of another black car which the seller is thinking of getting rid of (LWBS + steel brakes). Feel free to shoot me an email.

These are Canadian cars with the prices converted to USD. But they are both top-of-the-market cars and priced as such (if they're the ones I'm thinking of).

Thanks an excellent idea. Thanks. I've crunch the numbers before and with the import duty, shipping, brokering etc... it usually adds on another 10%. So a $100K USD car usually comes in around $110K.

Scan posted a 997.2 RS in their IG and hinted that it would be coming up for sale soon--do you know the story behind that car?
My car is great. Racking up the miles in California right now. I miss the BBCs but the canyons out here are truly remarkable.
Good luck with your search! Hopefully by the time I'm back you're the proud new owner of a GT3

i know the price is definitely a bit stiff and the miles are high on this one but does anyone know this car? Currently at McLaren San Francisco (Palo Alto) http://www.mclarensanfrancisco.com/u...2b63f9988d.htm
