Did an Old Clear film peeled your Decal?
My car is in service right now and I am thinking of changing the clear shield, from partial to full front clear shield.
My dilemma is if you peel the old film, will the decal on the fender also come off?
My SA said he can order it if it peeled but I want it as it left the factory.
Anybody had to face this problem.

Old PPF can be a pain. My car had old early 3M on it that was starting to yellow. Not only did it take decals off it took 10 hours of glue removal. If it proves to be very hard to remove you will know quickly I promise. You may have to use a heat gun or even have PPF people remove with hot steam. I hope you don't have to deal with what I did.

Agree with Mooty. Done several times without issue. The glue issue is real. Would suggest you have a professional remove the decal and use plenty of steam/heat. Should come right off with decal left in place.

I may have to look for a good PP guy. I think its possible to remove it without taking the original decals off.
