3.8 RS intake bellows?
I am trying to install the Dundon carbon airbox and need the OEM 3.8 RS rubber intake bellows to seal the decklid with the intake. Looks like nobody has these in stock worldwide so hoping someone here may have a set laying around. The part numbers are:
997.512.771.00
and
997.512.772.00
I'm being told they may have been revised so each ends in 02 instead of 00 now. Let me know if anyone has a lead on these. I would be very grateful!!

Sadly nonexistent. I offered $1K for a used set and got nothing. The bellows and the filler panel are MIA. And I know several folks looking for the bellows and/or filler panel with no success. Huge bummer. Good luck with your search. Best JBO

I remember it was difficult to source even back in the day but Suncoast got it ordered when I need it for my cup.

Couldn't find them when I was doing my RS decklid conversion a couple of months back (which I kiboshed mid-project). The majority of people who do the conversion don't bother with them. Insanely expensive for a piece of rubber.

I would not go without them. They create a seal for the air being directed into the airbox. If you are ramming air into the decklid you want to keep it going directly into the airbox and and not be losing it in the engine bay.
I'd encourage you guys to do some searches. I did some really quick to help someone and found some places that potentially had them. We will see if that is true or not.
Does anyone know if the 4.0 sized rubbers are available? If so you can always cut the decklid opening a little larger and use the Dundon airbox with 4.0 openings. I might even be tempted to sell my 3.8 rubbers and cup carbon airbox with dual cone filters to upgrade to 4.0 if they are available.
If 3.8 are completely gone, I'm sure a group could find a manufacturer to do a run of them. And one of us could supply 3.8 rubbers to model them after.

I have been searching since May of 2017, US & Europe. Was able to source only one, the left side. Still waiting on the right. Hard to believe they stopped making a rubber gasket/air boot. If anyone happens to stumble across an extra right side, please let me know.

I used adhesive backed high density foam on my 996 GT3 to recreate the factory seal that had degraded over time. There are a million options for foam / rubber door seals that would work perfectly to make your own solution here. Yes, it's not factory parts but you really do what that airbox sealed up tight to the engine lid.

Thanks for the lead. They have excellent parts inventory. Another good resource. Greatly appreciated!!
UPDATE: I just located a used set. My head is still spinning from the purchase price but maybe it will settle once my savagely expensive pile of parts begins to resemble a Cup/RS.2 engine lid Thanks again to everyone for their help!!
