I have a pair of Cayman R / GT3 RS door cards that I'm having re-upholstered to match my .1 GT3.

The door panels are removed from the car. I managed to get the grab handle off by removing 2 large silver torx screws from the back of the door card.

However, cannot figure out how to get the armrest piece off. Anyone done this successfully?

Since the RS cards don't have the storage cubby they are not held on by hinges like on a regular gt3.

Who are you having do the re-upholstry work?

Will probably go with Exclusive Option as they will take the panels apart for me. Classic 9 seems to be another recommended option.

Part 7 is 99755585700 or "pillar trim grommet". Anyone know how this fastener works?

I was asking because I was going to say if it's exclusive they will do it for you. I have a ton of stuff done by them on my Interior. All top notch work. Just not thrilled about what they want to charge to finish my door cards.

Me too... unfort have too many car projects running parallel. Will circle back when door cards are done.
