I have an unopened 991GT3 factory car cover. Has anyone tried fitting it on a 997RS? Is it an acceptable fit? How much of a difference if any is there in a dedicated 997RS cover? Obviously the car is smaller but the wing is higher. Thanks in advance...

i haven't tried, but looking at wing size., i dont thikn it will fit

I tried it but cant remember how much difference, but it would not fit. So much difference I remember that I bought a proper fitting 997.2 cover from an RL member.

Kinda figured. Thanks Mooty and Buff. I'll see if my dealer will let me trade for the 997 cover. If not, look for it in the marketplace...

Nice find. I think that's an outdoor version, which is way beefier. Still checking to see if the dealer will swap me for an indoor 997RS cover. Thxbuff!
