Thanks... They swing a bit more than 90 degrees maybe 110-120 allows some room but it is tight w/ the cars. One thing with a tight garage like mine. I put a laser light on the ceiling that helps you line up the car and know when you are in just enough to close the garage door.. Helps with the cabinet space in front of the cars when loaded up.

+1 on New Age. Bought from Amazon. Very reasonable, well built, powdercoated, and packed/shipped very nicely.

My Lista cabinets are 15+ years old and still great. Even had the "closet" doors done to match using tall cabinet doors.

Love the Lista, but went and checked out the Sonic cabinet array and tool organization setup that Matt has at Obsessed Garage HQ and really want to start over from scratch and convert all cabinets and tools to Sonic now!

Strictlytoolboxes.com “tool vault” I have snap on as well and tool vault is like artwork and built like a battle wagon for fraction cost of named brands.

Eh. I went through that hell 9/17. Scott Saxton of Sonic Tools got me set up.

Finally got me off my Wallyworld plastic travel tables I use at the track as well.

Does anyone know of, or have used, a cheap and simple app to help me design my garage layout?

Room sketcher
sketchup (higher learning curve)

there's an entire section of Garagejournal.com dedicated to layouts

I just finished some New Age cabinets in my garage. I have a few more organization things to do and then it's time to clean up the floors! I'm happy with the New Age Pro. I'm sure there is nicer stuff out there, but I just don't think I need it. I just saw that Sonic Modular Storage, dayum it's pretty! I may have to give in and upgrade my tools to the Sonic Foam system.

Very nice. How deep is your garage?

What do you mean by clean up the floors? Literally cleaning them, or redoing them?
