GT3 for sale at Livermore Porsche
Does anyone know this car? Besides the hideous decals, it has sparked my interest. Thanks in advance for any input you may have.
Cheers

From a very quick glance it appears that the front bumper has been repainted. Factory cars have a black center radiator air dam, this one's is body color.
Wheels may been repainted as well. I have not seen factory wheels in this shade of gloss black, especially not with gray nuts and black shield center caps. Something's off there.

Thanks guys for the replies. So it seems some of the aesthetics are a bit off. Sort of minor I guess, but could be red flags of more things that could come up. How about the roll bar? Does it look like a standard Porsche bar? or after market? I just begun researching 997.2 GT3's. I'm hoping to find a nice unmolested car in California. I reached out to the dealer and waiting to hear back from them. Thanks again

Looks like a GMG LMS bar. Lots of little red flags add up to a quick pass. I've seen several nice. 2s floating around at very reasonable prices. Just my 2 cents. Who knows could be a nice car. But removing the decals might leave some ghosting and tint delete is going to be a monster. My apologies if you like decals and limo tint...

Red flags, I agree, but those are more relating to the previous owner's questionable taste than anything. GMG bar is definitely a nice addition. Likely has a Sharkwerks exhaust (based on the sticker on the window), another nice addition. Decals and tint are an easy fix (any half-decent detailer can remove any ghosting). I wouldn't give the car an outright PASS based on the aforementioned. I would, however, go through the car with a fine-tooth comb.
As is the case with any car, take it to a reputable shop that knows GT3s and have it PPI'd. I can't stress this enough. From a price standpoint, I think it's a bit overpriced, however you can use the fact that it's modified in a somewhat unpleasing fashion to your advantage during any negotiations that may occur.
Good luck. Amazing cars.

I agree.
Its a CPO car. The extra 2 year warranty is nice. I find it strange a dealer would CPO a modified car. CPO doesn't equal no PPI. I'll deflintly get a PPI done if I decide to move forward. I also agree its overpriced for the mileage. Dealers always start high though. The modification discount could work in my favor. I'll see what they can do.
Thanks again everyone.

^ CPO definitely makes the car a bit more attractive. I'd do some digging around to get the low-down on the car. The decals and whatnot should make it somewhat easy to track down someone familiar with the car. As someone else mentioned, maybe contact Sharkwerks as a starting point. I think $110k is the magic number and see if they're willing to remove the decals/tint and do a proper detail to get rid of any ghosting.

I've found that to unscrupulous dealers CPO means nothing. Moreover certain things aren't covered under warranty. I bought a used GT2 in 2003 that was CPOd. The ceramic brakes were cooked. The car had 3400 miles. The dealer told me it wasn't their problem. I had to go through PCNA. It wasn't fun. I have several stories like this one. The CPO is not meaningful if the car is bad for any major reason. And the little things CPO will cover won't likely surface on a car with below 20k miles. Moral is do your homework and don't rely on a CPO...

As an FYI. A CPO car does not mean everything is covered. Ask me how I know!!- 7K later after PNA would not cover transmission issues due to aftermarket parts on car / indications it was tracked.
Please do not take my post as negative or a reason to not purchase this car. A d\stealer positions the CPO selling a car may be very different than how service / PNA views the CPO when you have an issue
