Sorry for the redundancy. Is this a 4.0L Clutch/PP and LWFW assembly?

The PP is the latest bolted not riveted PP designed for the 4.0. The Flywheel is the 964RS LWFW that has been used for a long time 964.102.239.31 - not sure of the difference between that and the RS4.0 997.114.012.90 flywheel. I do know this clutch disk is considered good, but, I don't have my PET here, so I can't really tell.

The Clutch disk, Flywheel, TOB are all sold as a kit by Suncost Porsche as a LWFW kit https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...CLUTCHKIT.html the PP was added by me before I decided to use a Tilton unit.

Question - will this work on a 997.1 GT3?

Can anyone advise the Pros and Cons to having this?

The PP is the latest 997 part, so that should work fine as would the clutch disk. The Flywheel is likely to work, but I am not positive.

Pro's/Con's - I can tell you my impressions:

Pro's: Motor will spin up noticeably faster - a lot less mass to spin up, will seem faster - and perhaps be

Con's: Need to get used to it, the OEM part cures a lot of shifting ills, but it is like getting into any different car with a standard, takes some getting used to.

Hopefully others can share their views, I would asking the question in a new thread as folks will be more likely to look.

HTH

Downshift blips require more finesse

It rattles at idle

Does wind out faster / more responsive at throttle application point
