997 Clubsport roll bar fitting hardware?
I recently sourced a new OEM 997 rear half roll bar, I did not get any of the fitting hardware (plates etc for attaching to body) I've asked Gert at Carnewal and it's not available seperately OEM.
Is is there any aftermarket suppliers that can help with this?
Cheers

This topic leads me to ask ; on the 2007 / 08 US spec cars was there a VIN # cutoff point from which the cars didn't have the factory mounts in place ? From what I've gathered looking at these cars over the years ( and I certainly could be wrong ) only 2007 cars had them - I don't think I've seen or heard of a 2008 car with them ?

For the US market wasn't it only the RS that had the chance of having the mounts ? Even on those there seem to be 07's that don't have them and I wondered if they stopped putting them in at a certain VIN point . Or am I wrong and it was just luck of the draw and some cars have them and some don't ?

Four Liter is correct. Only very early GT3 RS had the welded plates installed at the factory. I had one such car. I had a Green, AC delete, radio delete, Litronic delete, no Sport Chrono, with plates from the factory. Only the very earliest cars had the plates. I don't know the VIN cutoff but it was early. There were many RS sold in the Bay Area and the plates were a rare sight. I sold my car back to the dealer. Huge mistake JBO

Indeed. I was later told that there are only 2-3 RS.1s spec'd like mine. I bought it, drove it to an R Gruppe event in Central California, drove home, took it to the Monterey Historics, then I decided to sell it because my 07 GT2 arrived. Huge mistake....But I am and will always be gt2-josh.

Only the early 997RS cars came to USA with the plates.
I cannot recall the cut off VIN, but my car is 2356 and has them.
My other car 2569 did not have the plates.
I have some spare factory plates with hardware on the stash.

Wow!! Very cool! I'm glad it found a good home. If it was originally sold at Carlsen then it was definitely mine. There was lots of static on the boards about how ROW got all the good stuff. When it came time to pull the trigger most US RS buyers chickened out and ordered radio, A/C, PCM, Sport Chrono, Xenons, etc. My dealer was mad at me for checking no option boxes. I'm glad it found a good home. Please let me know if you ever sell it. On second thought I can't afford itt Best Josh
