PCCB brake pads - TRW, not Porsche "approved"??
There is a thread on the 996 GT3 board that indicates TRW makes pads appropriate for PCCB use.

Has anyone on the 997 board tried using TRW pads?
I need some definitive feedback that they work well before risking rotor damage.
Thank you
Craig

My shop once put TRW pads on my car. I took them off after two sessions on the track.
They were fine on the street.
On the track, they nearly killed me. Never got any bite from them. None.
The stock P40 pads are all I ever used with PCCB before and after that morning.
P40s take about 2 laps to get enough heat to bite. After 4 laps with the TRW I had no braking power so I got off the track.
I tried again on the next session and had the same issue. We bled the brakes prior to that to make sure it wasn't the pads.
It was.
