Default Vacuum Cleaners - Interior

Howdy from a new 997.1 owner, had her for about a month or 2. The car is in fantastic shape. Close to showroom save a few chips and such from normal driving.

I searched but I guess incorrectly.... what kind of vacuum, or what kind of method, produces the nice vacuum lines in carpets that you see from detailer/car dealer photos and such? My shop vac gets all the debris but being **** I'm wondering if there's a reasonably-priced vac that can give that detailed look. If not, no big deal....just wondering if it can be done on the cheap.

Many thanks,

Bill in Dallas

any shop vac, home depot etc. After you vac the dirt, blow the whole interior with a leaf blower, it gets all the dust out

You need a steam vac if you really want those lines

Nah, any vac will do it. The lines come from dragging the vac attachment across the carpet in directions that alternate with the grain and against the grain.
