Sorry to see. That happened to me in my E Merc years ago. Here in NC I think one can actually go to the state to pay. It was during the recession so I didn't bother. Got it bent back to like new. Ya'll pay a lot of taxes in Texas i thought in general they kept their roads up.

Amen to "weird" luck with this car......Wheel Repair Solutions in Carrollton, TX is the go to shop for ALL the exotic and high line dealers here. Half price if you deliver and pick up yourself....200$ for both fronts, one day max turnaround. WE CAN FIX HIM.
I may need an exorcism for this car, or perhaps it's just me and my lassaiz fare attitude. I drive hard and wash the car very little.............I'll add though that DFW streets in and around downtown are a F'N JOKE. Why they suck so bad is a mystery (tax receipts perhaps), but I bet it has to do with everyone driving trucks, SUVs, and heavy equipment all over them, and not feeling a damn thing. I also think the money simply isn't there to spend.
Hitting a hole that deep in a highway is scary at 75mph. DFW needs to repair its awful roads.

On the upside I have an extra wheel for the rear, might get an extra front while i'm at it, just to keep the car from sitting and waiting a day. Streets are so bad you might as well......

And that's just the start! The rest of the roads in this country are in pathetic shape.
In California they have been diverting the gasoline tax from being used to maintain roads to pay for illegal aliens to live in the state. Now they want to generate another "tax" to actually pay for road problems, but that money will be quickly shifted over to pay other things.
Welcome to the world of incompetent politicians and wholesale stealing and calling it taxes.

And, if the potholes weren't enough, DFW roads are also truly littered with puncture-producing debris. Ever since moving from upstate NY, I've had so many road hazard tire punctures (across all the family cars) - 1-2 per year versus 2 in my life (in NY).

I've been in real estate development for most of my adult life. While I've worked on and witnessed the rebirth of the neighborhoods surrounding our CBD, also witnessed our original roads patched up forever, and basically ignored until really terrible. Highways here were never in disrepair to the extent we have potholes. I need to run for mayor......and John I hear you on nails.......multifamily booming and residential means fasteners for wood. It does suck.
At least I'm navigating the suck IN A 911. Happy 4th y'all.

Bummer. Waze might have warned you of that hole had you been running it.

I left Dallas county after like 58 years. NE Tarant is Valhalla. The roads are paved with gold. Textured gold for ideal traction.
