Thinking of selling my 2010 4S- Where is the best place to place ad?

Hit all of the free places. This forum, Craigslist, and eBay.
I have honestly had much more luck with CL then I would expect. And every time I've paid for cars.com/autotrader/etc, it's never paid off.

Thank you all. This helps. I haven't made a decision yet, just getting ready if I have to. Fair to state here why I am thinking of selling a perfectly good, nah, great, car. Something has come up and need some quick cash. I have two options: sell some appreciating assets or sell one depreciating one. The latter will solve my immediate needs. The appreciating assets will come in handy in about a year's time when I'll likely jump back into a 911.

I consigned my last 3 cars. Cost me $2000-3500 (they kept over a certain amount) and I easily got $3,000-5,000 more than private party. No hassles either: I show up, sign some paperwork, and the car sells within 30-45 days. I have had a good experience selling cars myself (E92 M3, 2001 Toyota Tacoma) and bad experiences (tire kickers on my 911). In general, I have found the board here to be a waste of time. You can have a great car up at realistic private party price, and everyone offers you below wholesale. If you are going to get wholesale, why not just take it to Carmax and be done with it? Like this guy's car!
