Trying to figure out how to do this myself and I think one of these Torx bits might be stubby enough to fit. Maybe use some vice grips to clamp on to it from above?

Here's the $64,000 question: Even if you can get the right Torx bit on it, is there enough room to slide the bolt out all the way? Looking at the parts diagram earlier in the thread it looks like it might be too long to slide out. For now I'd just like to make sure it's cinched down tightly enough but as it stands I don't have the appropriate Torx tool in my arsenal that'll fit in that space.

Just bought a 2011 C4S, 27K miles. Within a week of ownership, that same tensioner bolt sheared off on me as well. I’m struggling to believe Porsche doeasn’t know this is an issue. Either a poor design on that bolt or a defective bolt. Either way, fixed and back on the road!
