I'll measure it for you if no one answers before I get off work.

FTR, it's not a clock. It's a lap timer and it's pretty useless unless you're tracking your car.

I wish it was a clock, then it would have some use for me.

Have you added a wart housing an you intend to add a clock or some other gauge? That would be cool.

One of my 997s had trouble with the clock vibrating/rattling so I removed it and shimmed its mount a little. The wart pops off fairly easily with a trim removal tool. From there, you can remove the clock itself pretty easily for measurement.

I found an old post referencing the removal here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...ml#post8006372

Sorry, I didn't follow what you were asking. I thought you already had the wart and wanted to change to clock. Now I see you don't have one.
It sounds like Iceter's offer to measure it for you later is the best bet so far, I no longer have a 997 and don't know if the 991 clock is the same.

Sorry, gimme a few minutes. The 997 lives in a detached garage and it's pouring outside.

My car is a 997.2 with Sport Chrono. I measured the lens at 2 1/8", and the outside diameter of the silver bezel around the face at 2 11/16".

The reveal of the silver bezel from the leather pod the timer is in is 5/16" at the top and 1/2" on each side. Keep in mind that the timer swivels left and right in the pod so there is more reveal on the sides to allow the timer to swing to the sides.

I hope that helps.

James.
